Meditation in Jeremie
Haiti never ceases to capture my heart… Sunday afternoon in a small rundown church in the middle of the noisy market in Jeremie, with vendors selling their wares yelling out the prices, carnival music wafting in from outside, but inside… 60 young people quietly listening to a presentation on meditation, and then, oh so gently, practicing meditation themselves. After the session, the young people expressed their gratitude and said they would take what they have learned home with them.
Another reason why Haiti continues to draw me in.
